Hi Everyone, I wanted to get your attention to an open call for the 2026-27 cohort of the Subspatial × DECTRIS CLOUD Fellowship.
Up to ten fellows will be supported for twelve months to undertake computational cryo-ET research on EMPIAR-11830 (1,829 annotated *Chlamydomonas reinhardtii *tomograms) using the DECTRIS CLOUD platform, with mentor support and committed compute. This fellowship runs on a real-time open-science model. Fellows maintain a public GitHub lab notebook, post a rolling manuscript on bioRxiv, and release the DECTRIS CLOUD jobs they validate so the wider community can reuse them. The aim is to turn one of the largest open cryo-ET datasets into something researchers without a local tomography pipeline can actually work with. We are primarily looking for researchers at any career stage with experience in cryo-EM or cryo-ET, and welcome computational biologists and image processing specialists who want to move into the field. We also actively invite applications from cell biologists whose biological expertise would strengthen ultrastructural interpretation. Call and application form: https://subspatial.org/fellowship Applications close 31 May 2026 at 23:59 CET (GMT+2). Please forward freely. Best regards, Sagar Khavnekar, Subspatial Fabian Eisenstein, DECTRIS CLOUD P.S. Cross-posted on 3dem. Those who subscribe to both, pardon us :) ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the CCP4BB list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=CCP4BB&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/CCP4BB, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
