Charles, this was exactly what I needed. I got tired of waiting for my Littlefuse cap to arrive, so I installed a 3A panel-mount circuit breaker (recycled from a small UPS) and fired up the terminal tonight. I fed that terminfo entry into tic and it works like a champ... vi works, even hack works.
