It was running fine just 25 years ago. So yes it was running. But since then I haven't tried. Before I fire it up again I need to give it a complete overhaul. Check PSUs etc. Just hopefully the old Finch drive is still doing fine.
The purpose of this tape-reading is to find a method to make a copy of the tapes without having a running system. /Mattis
