If the connections you want to make are on 0.1" spacing,
there are jumper shunts that will short adjacent posts.
These are little plastic blocks with metal springy fingers
inside. You can probably find some on old PC components.
If you need to short posts that are more than 0.1" apart,
then they won't work.
