I think the ebay fees for the listing are higher for those features.
I've seen a lot of sellers listing it w/o reserve, which Ebay pushed
some time ago. A simple for sale listing can be inserted indefinitely
for no fee, for instance.
I don't know if the $1000 price is free to list though.
I would list it at $1000 and OBO, but have not looked up to see if that
is what the guy did. I would not void a closed sale either if I
couldn't help it. But that's just me.
