To recover a TK50 What I do is run up the machine with the TK50 drive and mount the tape (not foreign), COPY the files to disk. Then I transfer the files to a SIMH machine and COPY them to a virtual tape (again not mounted foreign). Obviously the hard bit is getting a successful read of the TK50 tape.
