No, the AUI was the standard DA-15 to the 10Base5 transceiver; forgive
my clumsy response.

Yes, I know that's obvious, but there are probably few who remember the
agony of thicknet.


Agony?  Considering the alternatives to compare it to at the time
not really much agony.
