One of my favorite old Mahler cartoons is a shot of a mustachioed tuba player, sound asleep. Title is something like "G. Mahler/Symphonie Nr. 5./IV. Adagietto/ Tacet" For low brass, there's a lot of that sort of thing in the symphonic repertoire. --Chuck
