Like the VAX 6000 and the VAX 9000 :-) Having competing teams wasn't unusual in DEC, at least for a portion of its history.



Reading about the two different versions was interesting.

The PDP-11 version comes complete with a version of Micro-RSX making it

basically a turnkey system.

More interesting is that All-In-One for the VAX comes on RX02 and RL02 disks.

I wasn't aware that the VAX or VMS even supported RX or RL disks.
