I feel like people are over-thinking the Apple 1 thing. Apple made a lot of people rich, and I think the number of rich Apple people who want to be able to throw parties and say stuff like, "Oh, yes, that's my Apple I that I paid a million dollars for." substantially exceeds the number of extant Apple I systems.
I don't think this phenomenon is applicable to very many other products. G.
