He’s also someone who made most of his money through the “SoftwareOnline.com”
scam, and who doesn’t actually do any research before trying things such that
he will ruin hardware on a regular basis and then ask for help fixing/replacing
it under the assumption that money can cure everything.

He’s done thing like install Qbus boards upside down and fried them, and been
unable to figure out why something’s not working when the PSU’s 5V rail wasn’t
working until he got some former DEC people to come hold his hand and use
(gasp) a multimeter.

At least with the classic cars he “restores” he just hires people to do the
work and then takes credit for the restoration, with the computers he just
Dunning-Krugers his way around breaking things until someone generously offers
to help.

Oh, and one should never, ever just give him anything, because he’ll turn
around and sell it with a few thousand dollar starting bid on eBay “as seen on
my YouTube channel.”
