British TV is the best. Good stories, good acting, great scripts.
Even the opening credits are great. I’ve been watching btv on Acorn

It's not permitted in the US anymore but Russian TV is British
television without the Prozak.  It's fantastic.

When was this prohibited? I had a Russian colleague who watched it in
Altadena, CA. I knew he was really really really Russian when he moved
back to Moscow in February (!) of 2023 (maybe his wife insisted). Then,
sadly, in May he had a stroke and died. Maybe he would have survived in
Pasadena.

I doubt that it's expressly prohibited, but all the USian streaming services and a lot of the European ones just stopped streaming Russian content since the Ukraine War started. I'd be willing to bet your colleague was watching via satellite.
