Thank you for your advice. I looked on Digikey and Mouser and and the
connector prices were aprox. $5.00 or more each and i would need 7
connectors. I found a company that makes custom cables and I'm waiting
for their quote.
In the meantime I thought I would check with the group and see what I
could find that I might be saving from a landfill.

ribbon of width N and a connector at each end, companies like that can supply
