I don't have a server. I've been thinking about building geoff's vt100 board and using a serial wifi card to use it for connecting to my headless rpi servers and my vps. Plus do my bbs'ing.

Maybe something of the sort could beused for a WYSE machine.

Only now learning about these nice looking devices. It appears Dell bought the company.

If you don't have a server to hook it up to, you could configure a
(Open|Net|Free)BSD or Linux desktop or even laptop to listen (tty)
through an RS-232 (DB-25 or maybe even DE-9) port to which you could
then connect either a Wyse or other serial terminal (I also have an
Ampex).
