Neat, glad they are willing to participate! Ken had some funny stories in his book from a few years back. Like I think a newly bought PCjr got stolen from their car while they went to the theater (or some kind of PC).
I'm not sure if Ken ever answered on whether they determined how their house got burned down. (not the one they recently sold, but back when their kids were growing up) That fire is a reason they don't have a lot of old Sierra artifacts anymore (like old Sierra magazines issues and such). I know whenever you ask them about doing Such-and-Such with King's Quest or Space Quest, the standard answer is basically "we don't own the rights to that anymore" - which is correct and all (Ken's book was basically about the sad ending to Sierra c. 1999). But still, I wonder if anyone has considered a movie remake of any of their adventure game classics. I probably can't make it to Wall by next weekend. Two questions I might ask are: Do they still like Unity? and now having sailed the world, which part was their favorite? (and were they never afraid of any pirates?) -Steve On Mon, Apr 6, 2026 at 11:42 AM Jeffrey Brace via cctalk < [email protected]> wrote: > Ken and Roberta Williams of Sierra Online will appear virtually at VCF East > 2026, Saturday, April 18 at 11AM.
