In this manual from 1973: https://web.mit.edu/saltzer/www/publications/TRs+TMs/Multics/TR-123.pdf
Page 136 has a login session and 153 does have a "list" example, which shows the access (e.g. "re "), a number, then short filenames. I've read different stories on whether it supported 24 characters or 36 (in contrast to early unix 14 character and VMS 39 characters). But I was hoping for something more contemporary, an actual photo of some sort. But yes, simh would be a backup option when I get back to some equipment that can run it. -Steve On Tue, May 5, 2026 at 9:22 AM Bill Degnan via cctalk <[email protected]> wrote: > How about something from the MULTICS manual exercises on list command > output? > b > > On Tue, May 5, 2026 at 9:02 AM Zane Healy via cctalk < > [email protected]> > wrote: > > > Why not simply Do your own screen captures?
