One of my supervisors insisted I write an FTP server for a Mac IIci in about 1988 using Common Lisp. I used Guy Steele's CLTL2 text. He had a good sense of humor. The index item for "kludges" says 1-954. My supervisor wanted me to use T or Scheme but we wouldn't find a compiler.
