One of my supervisors insisted I write an FTP server for a Mac IIci in
about 1988 using Common Lisp. I used Guy Steele's CLTL2 text. He had a
good sense of humor. The index item for "kludges" says 1-954. My
supervisor wanted me to use T or Scheme but we wouldn't find a
compiler.
