PRIMOS, the OS used by Prime Computers was partially written in FORTRAN,
at least in early versions. I think they migrated to something else later.
Although I didn't work with the machines myself, I remember seeing my
colleagues digging in FORTRAN code chasing system problems.
Primos was a conglomerate of a number of languages. Not including
