I should have specifically  said it’s Windows Nt.  Issue is that it’s an Alpha 
so can’t use the usual  software to change or remove the password unless 
there’s an Alpha version. Best suggestion so far is to use a version of Unix 
that runs on Alpha and rename the SAM file.
