Hey,
I am not a developer, but more a end-user. I successfully built CDE on
Debian Squeeze and i am able to login in via the GDM manager, however i
have a few problems.
First off when i do login to CDE nothing appears except the help for how to
use CDE, i am not sure where the issue lies as i followed the installation
instructions on sourceforge to a "T".
I understand that the Linux port is still an alpha, and i am taking that
into heavy consideration, but i have also read that it has successfully
been built and works on Debian Squeeze.
However, my hunch and three questions are:
1. How does one identify and fix this issue?
2. Is CDE's compatible with a any compositor such as Compiz, or do i need
to turn Compiz off on start-up?
3. Shoul dual-monitor be a factor in whether CDE displays on the screen
properly?
