OK, thanks. I found the reason, and as expected it was a
silly one.
Default Mageia installation, did not include g++. I
installed it and
everything
seems to have compiled. Libraries and programs.
Next problem is that the installation script does not copy
all the
programs in /usr/dt/bin/
Why this? some programs, although compiled did not get
copied in the
installation directory.
For example dtaction, ttrm, ttmv, tttar ttsnoop, ttsession
(most
important) and others.
Copying them by hand in /usr/dt/bin did not do the trick.
The desktop
does not start.
