Hi Karsten, I'm willing to apply your two patches, but they are not in
a format I can easily parse and apply to the repo without a lot of
manual work. Could you send these patches in git format-patch (see
'git help format-patch') format?
You can include that format type inline or as an attachment, though
attachment is probably safer.
Otherwise I need to cut/paste the text into a file, and try to
manually apply and commit. Using format-patch format, I can easily
review and apply with the appropriate attributions (author, etc).
