I am not aware of any other shell being able to plug the GUI
interface to form what is called "dtksh".

We definitely need to update ksh to a recent ksh93 (which has it bumps but
is easier to get it working). Btw, there is a component that provides what
autoconf does, it's called "iffe".

What is the build issue you are experiencing?
