A few people were wondering how non-programmers could help out the project, I
pondered this question for a while, and believe I have a good answer. There is
a list of openbugs in historical that was current as of 2.1.30, but not
anymore. If someone could go through the bug list and find out which ones are
current and can be reproduced and which ones can't, that would be very helpful.
The bug report is unfortunately very vague, and for some reason the last letter
of every bug is cut off, so If a bug is current and you can reproduce it, file
a ticket for it, if not, mark it in openbugs as either NII (not enough
information), MOTIF (not a cde bug, motif bug), KSH (kornshell bug not specific
to CDE), UNVER (might be a problem, but cannot verify) if it is fixed and you
can verify that it has been fixed, delete the bug entry. There are a lot of bug
entries and it will be a lot of work, but it will be very helpful.
