There is a tool that comes with CDE on Solaris called 'sdtedit' which allows you to customize and edit the CDE hot keys. I found this very helpful as I'd already been acclimated to my custom keys in Fluxbox and Windowmaker and I could just make them the same in CDE.
Is that something one can get freely for non-Solaris systems? My Google-fu seems to say "no" but I thought I'd check with the gurus on this list before I gave up.
