Could this be a libm (msun) incompatibilty?
That... is hard to say :) If you've looked at the code in mp.c (line
844, where these errors are emitted) - that would be the place to start.
As you can see this is translated Fortran code. So it is quite possible
it's related to a library incompatibility. FWIW, it is working fine on
ub22.04
I think with this kind of issue (a hang) you'd want to catch it in a
debugger...
