Acroread has a bug with the scalable vector graphics of the CDK logo, but I found a workaround. Rendering of the logo is still very slow, but at least the first page shows up now. I've uploaded a new pdf to SourceForge. Alternatively, you can use xpdf which is available for most Linux/BSD distributions, and it seems for win32 too [1].
