I can give you one solution.
As far as your need is concern
I wish to add interface of CDK and Joelib and Jmol
You must have a good editor to start with.
i hope you are using one of the fallowing , Eclipse,Netbeans etc
If you are using Eclipse there is nice tutorial on the wiki about how to
install cdk in it.
if you are using netbeans add the jar of this projects as a library to your
project.
In this way all the methods will be available to you in the nice JText area
when you press the dot operator.
In this way you will never get the nosuchmethod error "as your previous
problem"

Please check which revision you have checked out, as 8155 seems to have no
compile issues, according to CDK Nightly:
