Hello. I am new at java and cdk and am trying to
install cdk in windows XP using netbeans. One problem
I had when following the instructions at
http://wiki.cubic.uni-koeln.de/cdkwiki/doku.php?id=cdkinstallation_windowsxp,
was that the cdk file I downloaded did have src and
jar folders but did not have a src/data folder as the
instructions say it should. So I used the data folder
contained in the cdk.jar file which I also downloaded.

Also, there are many choices in the dropdown tab for
choosing "build project". For example, there is
check, clean, compile-init, compile-jave3d, etc.
Which of these would I choose if I want to use cdk
with netbeans? The instructions say just choose any
one, but is that true?

I chose compile-init and used the data folder from the
cdk.jar file. The build was then successful, but when
I tried to run the project I received the following
errors:

dist.init:
compile-needed-test:
compile-module:

Can anyone suggest how to get the cdk working (and
what data folder to specify and what "build project"
to use)?

Thanks much, John
