Dear CDK development and user community,

with this email we would like to ensure you that the recent fork of
JChemPaint3 does not have any implications on the collaboration with
the CDK development teams at the EBI and Uppsala. The fork merely
reflects current differences in technological needs and prioritisation
of goals in the current JChemPaint development.

** We like to strengthen that the CDK is not and will not be forked. **

Hoping to have removed uncertainty about the future of the CDK, and
available for further questions,

with kind regards,

Christoph Steinbeck & Egon Willighagen
