Hi Nina, Yep, this is the plan. The current maven repo was started by the intact group (hence the address http://www.ebi.ac.uk/intact/maven/nexus/content/repositories/ebi-repo) and never really meant to be a general purpose EBI repo. Due to this, the maven repos were just in a user home directory (i.e. http://www.ebi.ac.uk/~maven) which of course had a size limit. We’re now going to host it on a virtual machine rather than a home directory and have it shared between multiple groups. Since there are now multiple groups involved, we can get a top level domain (e.g. http://www.ebi.ac.uk/nexus).
Should be sorted soon in which case we can guarantee SNAPSHOT persistence but for now it’s in limo unfortunately.
