Dear friends,
I’ve been checking this URL: http://es.openoffice.org/programa/cd.html
As I am Mexican, I was checking the official providers of
OpenOffice.org CD’s in my country.
Thanks for reporting them to us David! We wouldn't have known otherwise.
After taking a look at that page, I'm also very sure we should de-list them.
A _cursory_ look at their page shows them to be an online business involving some kind of investigative service, but really hyped up onto the sales side of things.
Looking further into their site (i.e. go down to the bottom and follow their links around their site and then judge) shows they're pulling some stupid "abuse the end user" types of tricks trying get as many people going to their site as possible.
And they have absolutely nothing to mention regarding OOo on their site.
I feel this is one of those few cases where we've accepted someone onto the list who's then abused the system. They definitely seem straight out shonky.
:(
By the way, this has no reflection on Mexican's in general. There are good and bad people across the entire planet, it's just a matter of figuring out who's who one by one. ;)
Regards and best wishes,
Justin Clift
