I LIVE IN MEMPHIS, TN, WHERE CAN I PICK UP A CD OF OPEN OFFICE IN THE CITY?

if you have a high speed internet connection you can download the installer files or an ISO from the OpenOffice.org website. If you don't have high-speed, it will take you several hours to download, and you'll probably need a download manager so you can resume from where you left off if you lose the contection (otherwise you'll have to start over again).

If you don't want to download it, and you're willing to pay for it, you can order it online in several places. Prices start at $5, and includes shipping, but they go up from there.

I'd suggest TheOpenCD ( http://www.theopencd.org/ ) becuase you get OOo and many other open source programs for Windows.

If you don't want to wait for a download or for a delivered CD, you can buy a copy of OpenOffice.org at most software stores, like Walmart, Office Depot, etc. but it will likely be under another name, like Perfect Office Professional or OOoFf! - just look at the boxes, the screenshots will tell you if they are OpenOffice.org or not.

Hope this helps!
