[cd-rom] Java message with office.orgbase?

We installed openoffice from the german paper Chip with their german 
openoffice, I want to prove that office.orgbase could handle MS Works files 
but by opening the file We got an message about Java and now we don't know. 
We run with windows XP and MS Office 2003,

Please advice this dutch people
