Hi. We are KEY OPTIMAL SOLUTIONS (KEYOS), an Information Techonology Company located in Sucre, Bolivia. We have experience developing Software for PyMES, education, migrations and support, using free software and open source tools. We have been using Linux as a main operating system including of course OpenOffice as a suite office tool.
As you may know all latin american country are absorbed by comercial tools like Microsot, and for that reason we cannot allow to pay expensive licenses because we are third world country, so our goal is to make to more people use OpenOffice. That's the reason why is so important in our country to migrate the tools that actually are using, most of them are illegal, so we have been working with education projects in a town called "Padilla" teaching kids under 14 years old, in lab that we have implemented, we think the best way to migrate this awesome tools is that youth starts using the computer using free software and open source tools. Our goal is to expand the use of OpenOffice, we want more people using OpenOffice, so we need OpenOffice stuff in order to make more migrations and events like a conferences where we can show the advantage of this product.
