I have been distributing a Windows only CDROM for several years now. I do
not sell the CD. I simply give a copy to anyone that is interested. It
is not my place to ask if they actually used the CD. I simply provide an
alternative to MS Office -- even to shoppers stalled in the Office products
aisle at CompUSA.

What I distribute is an 8cm CD (no big deal) containing a very carefully
checked Windows autorun that I know works on any Windows system later than
Win95. I tell them that if they have a legal version of Office they should
not check the boxes at that point in the install. I also point out that if
their version of Office is not legal, they should uninstall it immediately
since they no longer need it. It is amazing how many people ask how I know
that their Office is not legal.

I am not prepared to distribute OOo from the internet or any other order
method. I simply want to be on record as distributing he program in as
many ways as I can.
