That sounds highly unlikely. Maybe one of the elected OOo representatives, such as Luis or somebody from marketing, would need to officially explain the nature of the OOo Open Source license to ebay. I'm not sure how you contact a community representative (or whatever the current official name is)
Otherwise this problem will keep ocurring and it would be bad for OOo if resellers shy away from sales.
