Like I said before, Ebay obviously does not understand the nature of Open Soure software. Why else react this way?
Until OOo explains officially to Ebay, the problem will recur even if you solve your case. Write to the OOo marketing leads and ask if they can step in to clear things up to the benefit of OOo.
