Steve, I think I have found what the problem is with your ebay listing. I believe it is Microsoft who is putting a stop to your auctions and not OpenOffice.org. The reason I think this is you have in your item title the phrase "Office 2007" or it could be just the word "Microsoft."
It is irrelevant that the word "Open" precedes "Office" and "Compatible" is after "Microsoft". I had a similar auctions shut down because I put the word "Red Hat" in the title of the Fedora Core CDs and DVDs I was selling. I even emailed Red Hat and asked what the deal was, they told me that because the name "Red Hat" is trademarked that I am not able to use it in my description of something that is not a Red Hat product. I think that Microsoft is having your auctions pulled for the same reason. Office 2007 is probably trademarked by Microsoft. You cannot use other peoples trademarks in the title of your auction. Though it is a gray area when putting it in the body of your auction, like saying that it is compatible with Microsoft products. Also on a side note OpenOffice.org is not called Open Office 2007, you should stick to the actual name of the software and not play word games, or keyword spamming as eBay likes to call it. That will get you banned as well. Hope this helps you and any other eBay sellers out there that have had similar problems when trying to sell this or any other open source software.
