Hey Bob, Have you realised that you can download this program for free. There is probably a very good chance that it is already mirrored on the Uni servers. OpenOffice.org itself does not produce any CDs but merely the images which can be downloaded and burned to disk. The program on CD is distributed by Community Distributors who apply a token charge to cover their production costs, bandwidth costs, time, stationery, printing ink, postage,and even replacing exhaustyed disk burners after the flogging they get doing this stuff. But the goodwill and their genuine interest in your well-being, and general bonhomie is free. Drop your nearest distributor a line and see just how little it costs for one of the best software products on the market. BTW you can buy one copy on CD and duplicate it as many times as you like, that is the Open Source way. I am sure you will agree this is a pretty good deal.
