Hi,

I ran across an Ebay seller selling Open Office (calling it Open Office 2007) as a 107 MB digital download (no CDROMs) with no apparent modifications at all. Is this allowed? I could not find anything in the FAQs that allowed resale of the digital version. The guy is also hawking 11,000 'free fonts' along with it, failing to tell newbies that if they try to install 11k fonts in Windows they're going to have some MAJOR trouble with their systems.

The user, shadowcreekfarms, claims that he is licensed to distribute, but I couldn't find this name on your list.

Just curious as to why anyone would pay to download an open source file. I can certainly understand why people would want to buy a CDrom and CDrom sellers definitely need to cover their costs and services, but just to offer a download when it's free from Sun, I just don't see how that would be allowed. It seems like such a ripoff.

Thanks in advance,
Deanna Figueroa
