Hi Alex,

We. The Rozaleenda Group, Inc., global provider of Web, Media, Software,
E-Business, TV and Telecom solutions, want to distribute OpenOffice in
high-quality retail-ready CD-ROM around the world, and in INDIA (since we
are based in India). We can market worldwide via internet and ship to many major countries with a very low shipping cost. And, we can market OpenOffice
in India regionally, by providing CDs to various retail stores etc.

I have already gone through the web pages related to the distribution and
want to know, what is the process of become an OpenOffice partner like the
above way. We also want to include various 'extras' (add-ins and add-ons)
available in your web site.

The CDs we will distribute will have the following...

-- High-Quality CD Media
-- Duplication/Replication (Content/Artwork Provided By You)
-- Full-Color On-Disc Printing
-- DVD Case (It looks good than CD Jewel Case)
-- Full-Color 1-Panel Insert
-- Full-Color DVD Case Cover (Including Spine)
-- Cellophane Wrapping
-- UPC Bar Code (Included)

*Please let me know the following...*

-1. Can we fit the product in 1 CD? I don't need other languages (apart from
English) or clipart images, for now. What will be the total file size?

OpenOffice.org will fit on one CD - the exact size depends on how many
platforms you provide (MS-Windows, GNU/Linux (RPM), GNU/Linux (DEB) etc

-2. The companies who are currently distributing OpenOffice as CD in various
countries, what they are charging for the main CD? Approximate in US
Dollars? Please give us an idea.

We don't keep a register, but you should be able to check on their
websites http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/#cdrom

-3. To write in the 'Back Cover' of the case/cover and in the 'Inlay Card', what texts & screen shots should we use? I got the artworks but want to know
about the texts.

There are examples on http://www.lulu.com/ooo

-4. I have answered the following format, given at your web site.

A) Name as you would like it to be listed.
-- The Rozaleenda Group, Inc.

B) URL to link to. (This is for those of you who use a website to sell the
CD. If you do not use a website, it is not needed.)

C) Location. Your country and state/county at the minimum. Your city or town
would be appreciated by potential customers.
-- India (Regional Sales) // Worldwide (Global Sales)

D) The version of OpenOffice.org which you will have on the CD. "Current
Stable Release" is sufficient.
-- Current Stable Release

E) That you have read and understood the requirement of including a copy of
the licenses with each CD-ROM you distribute.
-- Is this License already included in the ISO file in your web site?
Otherwise, where to get this License file in your web site?

Please let us know your valuable comments about our above proposal.
