Erika, the OOo CD distribution administration is conducted by
volunteers, not employees. As such they cannot always answer in a
timely manner. To give you an idea, I sent a similar request to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] in June 2008 and never received a reply.
Fortunately, the terms on
http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/distributors.html explicitly state:
"Understand that you may still distribute OpenOffice.org at any time.
Even if you have not yet received a reply to your email, you may still
freely distribute the software."
So, my understanding is that you can already start distributing OOo.
