Hi. 1. You can use any brand of CD/DVD but make sure to use use a reliable brand as it should not make others feel asif OO is cheap (the other way). 2. You are not required to obtain any written official document to prove anything. Community Distributors are volunteers, hence you do not required to show any document and claim to be Community Distributor of OO.org 3. no document or certificate will be provided, but if you really help the community, the OSS Community will come to know about your contribution and people can browse forums and sites, where there maybe a mention of your contribution if you yourself take interest in forums etc.
You can involve your self by the followings ways : a. Help in designing Logos for OO b. Mass distribution of OO.org CDs to NGO's & Schools c. Have a website and Sell OO.org for nominal charges to overcome recurring expenses of CD, postage, etc. d. You can have sticker and T-Shitrs made with OO.org logo and distribute it free of cost or Sell it for nominal price. e. Last but not the least, use OO yourself instead of using proprietory products.
