This morning I received a request for a install for OpenOffice.org
version 3.1. When I replied to them message I informed the sender that
3.0.1 was the current stable version.
To my surprise he replied that http://lwn.net/Articles/332303/ showed
that version 3.1 was available. After checking the web link and
www.openoffice.org I found the files and got the CD in the mail.
My question is where is this information pasted along to us? I have
looked back here and on the mailing list and can not find any
information on the release of v3.1, even though there is a press release
on the one of the Marketing project web pages.
