I am not sure which group I am required to request permission from, I would
like to distribute to my customers and clients the Open Office Org software.
We are doing this by direct contact installing for existing clients and
including on OEM/Custom builds as an alternative to the MS office product. I
would also like to support downloads from our web sites as either a link to
the Org site or directly from our server for the common Windows based
version that we are using.

I have not seen a reply from one of the leads, so I will try to answer
your questions. You are free and encouraged to share OpenOffice.org
with any and everyone.
If you wish to use the official OpenOffice.org logos then you need to
post a request to the Logos Mailing list at
[email protected] . You are not allowed to alter the logo,
just enlarge or reduce to meet your needs.
The best way to provide downloads is by linking back to the
OpenOffice.org site. This prevents you taking up space on your server
and insures that the latest version is available to you customers. This
also allow the download tracking system to help track the number of
downloads.
Hope this helps.
