Have you taken the time to browse through the Sinhala Native Language page at 
<http://si.openoffice.org/> yet? (I seem to remember that Sinhala is the Sri 
Lankan language). There is also a Tamil site at <http://ta.openoffice.org/>.

Were you aware that the Australian Government archives are maintained using 
the Open Document Format (OD), And they actually use OpenOffice.org (OO.o) for 
the purpose? If you like, I'll try and dig up a link so you can get in touch 
with them and draw from their experience. Let me know about that.
