You have not provided any information that would be needed to help you. This is also not the place for these type of questions. Go to the http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html web page and scroll down till you see "[email protected]" in the list. You can search the archives or send a message to the list asking for help. The people answering the questions are other users and very good when provided with enough information. Need info would be version of OOo, operating system & version, where did you get OOo from at least. How are you trying to open the files.
If you wish to see replies but not want to join the mailing list then let them know that as well so that replies can be sent direct as well as the list. You should only reply to the list and not to individuals so that more people can help.
