In the past, I have burned CDs for the retired folks here (apartment complex,
200+ units) - for the last couple of releases, the installation from a burned
CD takes approx 6min. It seems to stall at the 'copy new files' command. If the
installation is terminated (people think the install stopped) it returns a 1330
error (invalid digital signature, cab file).
If the installation is done from the download, no such problem. I have used the
unpacked files from the downloaded install and also the iso files, both are
6min installations.
Versions are v.3.2.1 and v.3.3.0
I (just for verification that it wasn't my equipment) downloaded another open
source office suite and had no problems extracting the files, burning a CD and
installing.
