Hi all,

this group hast been very quiet for a long time (we did not
get nasty quarrels with Douglas Gilbert), so I decided to have
a look at the current status of the Linux SCSI driver.

... well it looks as if all my wishes are now implemented in a decent
way (except that the way to raise the DMA size to more than 32kb
is a bit curious and needs a lot of code to be adopted in libscg).

As I am still not sure if there will be compatibility problems.
Next week, there will be a new cdrtools version that uses the new
features.

I hope to get testers for the new (2.4) kernels and for compatibility
with older kernels too. Please stay tuned......
